John, Liz, Lauren, Josiah and Carson will all be heading to Fort Wayne, IN for the weekend of October 17th for Redemption ‘08. GRN Director Tom Zurowski is speaking at this event. John is the Executive Assistant for the ministry and will be assisting Tom as he ministers that Friday night.
The one night worship gathering will be held at the Memorial Coliseum and will commence at 7pm. This night is sure to be an incredible worship experience in the presence of the Lord. The theme of the conference is Hope, Healing, and Restoration. They will have many annointed men and women there ministering in worship, testimony and challenge. (Liz is especially excited about Ballet Magnificat who will be performing there!) Tom is scheduled to conclude the event with an inspiring message from God that will challenge the thousands in attendance in their walk with God. How exciting!!
If you are going to be in the area, or even if you are not, make plans to come to Redemption ‘08! It is going to be a wonderful time in worship to our God.
Contact us for more information including accomodations, directions, etc., or visit Redemption ’08’s website.
See you there!
Congaratulations Tom , Elli, Megan, John, and Jeremiah!!!
This afternoon at 12:14pm. They welcomed Matthew Stephen into the world!
He weighed in at 7 lbs. 2.5 oz. and he is 20 in. long. Elli and Matthew are doing great! Check GRN’s blog for updates and (soon) pictures. God is good!
I don’t know about you but I was not blessed with an automatic positive attitude. It is really something that I have to work hard at. I have been realizing that what I thought was a good attitude was only a good attitude when things were going my way. Ouch. God has graciously been showing me that I am in need of a major attitude adjustment:) If you are like me and struggle with having a positive attitude and outlook on life, be encouraged! There is Hope! Start today! You are always one decision away from change! Attitude is a choice. You and I are the only ones responsible for whether or not we are going to have an awesome day today!
Today is a beautiful day. God is on His throne. He reigns! God thank You for giving us this day and for the opportunity to serve You and other people today. We choose to rejoice today! God You are good!
Attitude by Charles Swindoll
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. Ando so it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes.”

Hello everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your summer! I’m writing to ask if you would pray and believe with us for the money we need to purchase Lauren’s school books. We will be starting Lauren in Kindergarten this year. We are so excited and take the privilege of teaching our children at home very seriously. Thank you for praying and believing with us. He is our Provider!
Our family would love to pray for you. Please let us know of any prayer requests you might have. We hope you have a blessed day. Our God reigns!
Last Friday night our son Josiah fell down our stairs and broke his collar bone. Please pray for a quick and complete healing of his body and for us, his parents as we try to keep a very active 3 year old from running, jumping, and falling! Thanks so much!
For a more detailed story of what happened (and pictures) visit Liz’s blog. Have a blessed day!
Check out a few pictures from my recent trip to Sudan. One of my main tasks was recording video footage for Global Response Network. I am now importing and editing the videos to create movies to help spread awareness and raise support for the Loka Senior Secondary School project. The videos will be broadcasted on the internet, shown at churches and shared with partners of the ministry.
You can tell I had a blast meeting such wonderful people! I count it a great privilege to do whatever I can to help people in southern Sudan receive a Christian education and rebuild their lives! Check out www.grnconnect.org to get connected yourself with the project.

on June 2nd John and Tom left for Sudan. I (Liz) got a call from John today around 10:30 and they had just checked into their hotel room in Uganda! I will be updating my blog regularly and even hopefully posting some pics that John is going to send me via email! We covet your prayers as the area they are going into is considered a war zone. Also please pray that many lives would be touched for His glory! If you want more updates go to www.eafollman.wordpress.com
We made it here at about 9:30 pm on the 26th. It was a long trip, with frequent stops for fly-away tarps and bathroom/food breaks
But it was good, the kids did great and we had beautiful weather the whole way down. Thank You Lord! Here are a few pics of the trucks all loaded up and also of our new house. We feel so blessed. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and kind words of encouragement. We could not do this without you! It feels awesome to be living out the dreams that God has put in our heart. We are so excited about what the future holds!
